Family Physician, MDDirect Midtown Toronto
Dr. Stern completed his B.Sc at Western University (formerly UWO), and was awarded Gold Medals for the highest grades in both of his majors, Biology and Medical Sciences. He graduated medical school from the University of Ottawa and went on to complete his Family Medicine residency at McMaster University, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Stern has worked in a variety of care settings including community family practice, walk-in clinics, and urgent care. He also possesses focused clinical experience in occupational medicine, sexual health, and women’s health, and has worked in leadership positions relating to health and system management. Dr. Stern is passionate about preventative medicine in a shared decision-making model and continues to be a strong advocate for his patients. Outside of the office, he enjoys running, tennis, and spending quality time with his wife, son and daughter.
